Registration is OPEN for our 2022 FREE "Intro to Lacrosse" Clinic Series

Avon Lacrosse is hosting 4 FREE ‘Introduction to Lacrosse’ clinics this fall. All sessions will be co-ed, following the updated USA Lacrosse ‘Pickup and Play’ curriculum. These clinics are open to boys and girls, grades 5-8, from Avon, Plainfield, Cascade/ Mill Creek, Mooresville, and Camby! Private school and homeschool students are always welcome as well!

These clinics are focused on boys and girls that are new to the sport of lacrosse, Grades 5-8. Players who have played before competitively should not register for these clinics. Previous clinic-only participants are welcome to return.

Dates and Times for our fall clinics*:

·         Saturday, August 27, 2022:        10A – Noon

·         Saturday, September 03, 2022:  10A – Noon

·         Saturday, September 10, 2022:  10A – Noon

·         Saturday, September 17, 2022:  10A – Noon

All clinics will be held at the AMS South football field - 174 S Avon Ave, Avon, IN 46123

*Please check-in 15-20 min before clinic starts so we can sticks issued out to players!

All lacrosse equipment required for the free clinic will be provided by Avon Lacrosse. Avon Lacrosse coaches and current high school varsity lacrosse players will lead all clinic participants through a series of games and drills teaching the fundamentals of lacrosse. The clinic will conclude with participants playing a small-sided game of Flex6 lacrosse, using their newly gained skills!

Since we will not be wearing helmets or pads for this clinic, body contact will not be allowed during this introductory clinic! However, any player interested in pursuing lacrosse will have the opportunity to register for our fall and winter opportunities, pad up and safely experience the full lacrosse experience with us!

Registration is now OPEN at www.avonlacrosse.club . Create an account, add your child's information and all available clinics will appear. If your child is in grade 5-8 and no registration options appear for them, please contact [email protected] for assistance.

Please only register for one clinic so others may experience them as well - all clinics are the same, so find the one that works best for your schedule. Kids have more fun when the share the experience so please share the information and encourage your child to bring a friend!

Since they are FREE, please make every effort to attend after registering, you may be taking a space from someone else -- clinics are limited to 20 participants per session!
